Children and Young People

Most Young people (aged over 14) can request support from our services directly if they are registered with a Greenwich GP or attend a school or college in Greenwich.  We cannot work with young people unless they have agreed (consented) to our support, except in very special circumstances.

Services offered

Young people can get help from Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy. Young people may be supported in schools/colleges or offered appointments at a clinic or health centre.

Consent

Anyone age 16 years plus must give consent to work with us (except for in very special circumstances). Some young people under 16 years may also be able to consent to work with us.

Referrals 16+ years

If you would like to see a Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, please speak to the SENCO at your school or college, or ask your GP to refer to us or contact the service directly via the email address oxl-tr.childrenstherapies.nhs.net
