School Years
Introduction
The School Years team is made up of Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Technicians/Assistants; we work with children who attend a mainstream school.
Speech and Language Therapists work with children, staff and parents by visiting the child’s school. Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists might work with children, staff and parents in school, clinic or within the home.
All 3 services aim to create cultures and environments which enable and empower children and young people. They promote prevention and self-help while working with the child, their family and school. We aim to help children reach their full potential in the context of their physical, social and emotional needs.
